Project Manager for the FRAMÅT Project

Jönköping Municipality is a large employer with hundreds of different job roles. We are now looking for a project manager for the FRAMÅT project. FRAMÅT is an ESF-funded collaboration project between the labor market department (AMA) and the social welfare department's area of financial assistance.

The project's goal is to reduce long-term unemployment and the need for financial assistance in Jönköping Municipality.

The target group is adults receiving financial support who are far from the labor market, often with complex needs such as mental health issues, language barriers, low education levels, or disabilities.

The project is based on strong collaboration where we support individual development, highlight resources, strengthen responsibility and motivation, and create belonging and inclusion. The goal is for each individual to find their place in society. Together, we open doors to a sustainable and meaningful future.

Project's Core Pillars

• A joint assessment phase between the social welfare department's financial assistance area and the labor market department to identify individual needs together
• Individualized measures such as work training, language development, motivational interviewing, and health-promoting support
• Close monitoring of participants' development
• Improved collaboration between actors to prevent participants from getting stuck in the system

Your New Job

As a project manager, you are responsible for leading and coordinating the project's implementation. You have overall responsibility for achieving project goals, ensuring resources are used effectively, and that development occurs according to plan. You will also have personnel responsibility for the project's employees.

You work both strategically and operationally, in close collaboration with internal and external actors. You lead the project group, coordinate activities, and ensure quality in all efforts.

You are also responsible for ongoing monitoring, reporting, and financial accounting according to ESF guidelines, as well as contributing to method development and creating conditions for successful working methods to be integrated into regular operations.

The financial assistance area within the social welfare department is responsible for financial support and works to support individuals towards self-sufficiency.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with a university degree in a relevant field, such as behavioral science, pedagogy, or social work. You have experience in project management, process management, or another leadership role and are used to collaborating with actors such as the Region, the Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, employers, and civil society. Your communication skills are strong, both written and verbal, and you work in a structured and results-oriented manner.

It is an advantage if you have experience with ESF projects and knowledge of labor market policy measures and/or social work. Training in motivational interviewing (MI), a solution-focused approach, and experience working with individuals far from the labor market is also valuable.

Good to Know

The position is a project employment at 75% during the period 2026-02-01 – 2028-12-31.
